This is the road map which covers the general sequence and key steps necessary to set up a platform. A platform is a generic organisation which offers products and services to the community based on the skills and resources of its members. A key resource is a pleasant and productive living and work environment for the resident team to work from which should include a good kitchen, accommodation and an office space. Larger houses may also have available meeting rooms and lounge or cafe facilities for the members. although the minimum team size is one person, an ideal team size to begin with would be 5 people who set up a house together, ensuring enough diversity and spread of skills and interests to get all the tasks done that arise when running a household and an organisation.

1 Goals and values

The purpose of coming together to set up a platform is to allow the members to follow their passion and serve their community in a way that is stress-free, harmonious and therefore sustainable. As a well-organised team, they can leverage their shared skills and resources to generate a good and sustainable income. This gives the members access to resources and the tools to easily develop further projects and ideas based on the same harmonious values the initial platform was founded with. Eventually groups of groups of people working together in this way can form a decentralised network with effective knowledge reuse and resource utilisation. This allows the people to access the resources and level of organisation that would normally require a large corporation, while retaining their individuality and freedom.

Further to these goals which describe what the team wants to do, there are clearly defined values, which explain how the team wants to achieve it's goals. These are clearly described and easy to give to interested people in the form of a flyer or during conversation.

2 Team commitment

A resident team needs to be assembled which can work together in and on the platform. Through an effective communication process during which the goals and values are discussed integrated, the people interested in working and living together can begin to form a team with shared values and therefore shared priorities. If at any point there is disagreement, the goals and values can be consulted or refined as necessary.

3 Team organisation

Proper organisation allows the team to work together smoothly, by maximising the productivity of the members and ensuring roles and communication channels are in place, with effective scheduling to ensure the best use of time and resources.
