erich, if you want, you can put all the chior stuff up at stjamesorthodox.com login info is on that article, Stjamesorthodox.com... i just bought a virtual host at godaddy so we can move this over there as well...WIKIEXPERT.COM

erich, please make all documentation updates to wikiexpert.com, not div0.com. div0.com is a child of wikiexpert, and we don't have bi-directional synching working yet. to update div0, just add ''' '''category:erich''' ''' to any article on wikiexpert you are working on, and the bots will copy the article over. --Phalseid 15:14, 22 Aug 2006 (NZST)----

me: im back, sorry
http://www.wikiexpert.com/ADEFT.COM/Quickscan#Project_Approach
Erich: thanks
yeah, what happened? wireless cut out?
me: yeah. im in dever at the tattered cover
it died for a sec
Erich: I sat with groene's last night figuring out their software needs
me: cool...they need hel[
p
Erich: turns out much of what they need is already done by openEMR. I may end up supporting them
me: cool.
Erich: indeed -- they are quite dissatisfied with their current setup
me: if you/they go that route, let me know, cuz lara and i are starting up a medical service business too, and i would like to share the knowledge
Sent at 11:55 AM on Friday
me: i really want to share resources with you (hosting/etc) so we can learn from echother....
and then you can back me up and i can back you up if we are on the same page
obv, with different skill sets
Erich: Yeah, be careful with that (med svc). Doctors can be a pain to work with, and the software needs to be right on, with sufficient assurances that HIPAA is being followed, that it works right, etc.
I've heard of many programmers getting burned or burned out doing medical
me: yeah. im not wanting to do programming, but my whole business is about compliance (adeft.com) and quality records.
i do business in box consulting, is what i figure
i have best practice for different industries, telecom, internet, etc
Erich: I'm just saying, medical is trickier than most. Be careful
me: [smile] point taken
Erich: Very specialized requirements, and the requirements need to be hardened and filled with more hardened solutions than other industries
Consider it almost like doing government work

me: yep. (My mo in law is a Hospital VP, my bro in law is a doctor, so i get this all the time from them.
Erich: So, the demoscan -- I just input some fields and submit?
ah
me: yeah, can you see the credentials?
(you need to send some files via FTP)
or i can fill it up for you
Erich: I couldn't view the properties, if that's what you mean (I just got a message out "you need permissions to edit the page" or some such, but that's all)
me: k, hang on
Erich: hanging

Erich: "ITI wants a solution to resell to current clients."
me: http://www.wikiexpert.com/User:Epte
Erich: but it seems they already have one?
me: not for quickooks
Erich: solution to do what specifically?
me: scan stamp and import invoices, customers, items and vendors into qb
there is no solution in the market for that right now
(web based)
they told me they could sell it for 40/month per user
Erich: ah
me: they have 500 customers
you do the math
Erich: no additional requirements I have to consider for their needs then?
me: no, i just want a working demo for them out of this
Erich: k
me: it will be cake for me to take what you do and apply it to customers, items and vendors
Erich: yay! it's raining!
me: not here...
Erich: just to confirm, any changes or submissions I make from the Demoscan will have no affect, yes?
s/affect/effect/
me: that is correct, but i have to tell you about dependat files. take a look at invoicescan.php, im making a copy right now so nothing goes boom
and oh, i only have 200 MB left on here
Erich: Hah! sorry about that earlier -- I wasn't logged in to the system
me: if it fills up, i am indeep dodo
(remember that backup fiasco)
Erich: Yeah, I've been watching your diskspace increase
backup fiasco?
me: [frown]
but im backing up for 3 clients now, since dragon backup isn't up yet
[smile]
Erich: Yeah, I've been a bit busy lately. [smile]
I think I've found a good windows client solution -- better than the one you found, and cheaper (free)
I'll have to get back on that
me: yeah...one thng at a time
okay, can i walk you thru workflow on something here....
Erich: After this week is over, things will be a little slower
me: the week IS over. [smile]
Erich: k
me: go ahead and send some file to that site
pdf is best,
Erich: I meant until Tues or so
me: oh...[smile]
Sent at 12:16 PM on Friday
Erich: what constitutes a valid article? Does it need to be financial in any way? Will any pdf do? Can I use the PDFs already in the list?
me: hang on....
Erich: /me hangs some more [nose wink]
me: http://www.div0.com/wiki/index.php/Demoscan
i see no pdf's here
the content doesn't matter
just make up data
Erich: sorry -- one jpg, one hbi
me: yep
Erich: you're right
the jpg and hbi aren't valid for this purpose, I take it
?
me: no, that was junk data
so, here we go... 1) does this page make sense to you:http://www.div0.com/wiki/index.php?title=Demoscan&action=edit
Erich: hang on. so uploading the pdf -- is that through invoicescan.php? (getting there right now...)
Sent at 12:21 PM on Friday
me: yes, but i just now changed that...http://www.div0.com/wiki/index.php?title=Demoscan.html&diff=0&oldid=6526
