What a proposal is

The proposal needs to convey the following three thing clearly: The What (Scope): What processes will be touched 'The Why (Objectives): All the issues the customers would like resolved The How (Methods: A list of tools/tool features that we will impement, the timeline and meeting requirements The How Much: The one time costs and reoccuring costs.

Somewhere there needs to be a 'sell' on the fact that we are giving them 'the core' of their future systems and that we need to be sure we understand their business. This helps justify the fact that we are looking to charge them 3/5ths of the original bid.
